After the wonderful experience we live with Icod Remote, and that we shared with you through the post: Remote Icod, 21 days of connected rurality , we could not stay without doing anything in what was left of 2021.
Many were the reflections and the questions that arose to us What are the next steps? What return do we now give the project? Or simply, what do we do with all these learning? Well, we got down to work with the best we know how to do: create a new project in the form of a project, and this is how ancient remote .

But the merit of this new initiative has not only been ours. On this occasion, starting the project on the island of Fuerteventura has been possible, to a large extent, thanks to the collaboration on the field of the Biosphere Reserve of Fuerteventura, Rural & Ecotourism, and the support of the Tourism Board , through the Ministry of Tourism, as well as the City of Antigua and the Ministry of New Technologies of the Cabildo.

This new initiative will take place from November 12 to December 3, and just as we already did during Icod Remote, it will feature 10 teleworkors and 6 local actors, who will collaborate, elbow with elbow, during these 21 days, in the face of Generate a direct socio-economic impact in the aforementioned municipality of Majorera Island.
The municipality of Antigu They will remember all your life.
»It makes me very excited that our next edition is in Fuerteventura, the island that saw me born and for which I have a very special affection. To be able to replicate our model, already validated, in another of the Canary Islands is an honor. " Elsa Rodríguez, co-founder of Pueblos Remotos .
To do this we will have two incredible accommodations: the era of the court, a rural hotel with more than 100 years of history, and the house Villa de Antigua, a traditional Majorera house with a lot of charm.
