'Break', according to the RAE dictionary: separate with more or less violence the parts of a whole, undoing its union , is what has led us to our next project.
No, we are not going to break anything, at least physical and real. 'The Break' is the name of the next project to which we join with remote peoples, and I say, 'We join', because it is a project that is organized by the School of Industrial Organization (EOI) and Impact Hub Madrid .
For us, being part of this project also means 'breaking' with how we had been managing our experiences, facing a different challenge (our first one hundred percent project in English) and adding the 'layer' of mentoring.
But, let's start at the beginning, that I am already sure that in your head you will be considering what is 'The Break'?
'The Break', betting on female entrepreneurship
If you have gone through our social networks, or by our website, these last two months, it is very likely that you already know what 'The Break' is, but in case it is not, we leave you here a description of the program:
The Break is an entrepreneurship program for 280 women residing in the EU. The program, funded by the European Union and the Next Generation funds, will have 280 participants who will enjoy training more than two months including a 28 -day face -to -face retirement in different areas of Spain to boost their project, improve their business skills and create a community of entrepreneurs in the EU.
As Pueblos Remotos , 'The Break' is a new opportunity and a challenge of learning, of squeezing our heads to improve our experiences, to improve and expand our team, to work with first level partners and, above all, to add with A group of organizations that believe in a different path to do things.

In our case, we will receive twenty entrepreneurs, ten during the month of October and ten during the month of November, which come from different countries of the European Union: Italy, Portugal, France, Germany, Romania or Croatia.
How have we reached 'The Break'?
Pueblos Remotos was selected, along with 11 other projects throughout Spain, to be facilitators, and mentors, within the 'The Break' program, being also the only destination of the Canary Islands.
For us it is a pleasure to be able to share this project with 11 entities that firmly believe in what they do, whether it is to promote entrepreneurship, the rural world, sustainability, the SDGs or, simply, the change in people.
Being entities such as: The Social Circle, Impact Hub Donostia, Rural, Pandora Hub, the Consortium, Roberto Rivas Foundation, Bikonsulting, CEEI, Genion, Almanatura or Impact Hub Malaga , is an opportunity to learn, grow and generate knowledge In network, something absolutely necessary within the rural world and that is completely aligned with our mission, vision and values.
Where are we going with 'The Break'?
Our next destination will be the municipality of Agaete, on the island of Gran Canaria. This is something fantastic, since we had not yet done any experience on the island and this will also serve to discover a new destination.

Agaete is a small paradise framed on the northwest coast of Gran Canaria: natural pools, cliffs, coffee plantations, history and sunsets ... What else can we ask for? Well, asking not to be, and in addition to all this, we will stay in sensational accommodation: Cape Coliving , space managed by the Repeople , a pioneer company in the attraction of remote workers and digital talent to the Canary Islands.

Faithful to our philosophy from pueblos remotos, within 'The Break' we will have many moments to share, learn, generate impact and spend moments that we will remember forever.
Within our planning, we have many things on the agenda: professional visits, cultural visits, group and individual mentoring, Skillshare , face local challenges or, simply, enjoy the tranquility of the connection with the environment.
In front of us we have two months now to create, to grow and share, always with the connected rurality as a road map, and enjoying the maximum of each experience that we start up.
