Patrocinadores y colaboradores, una de las patas de Pueblos Remotos

Ahora que estamos a las puertas de nuestra tercera edición, es momento de agradecer a nuestros patrocinadores y colaboradores todo su apoyo.

Article written by Carlos Jonay Suárez , co -founder and responsible for digital strategy in remote villages.

Let's not kid ourselves, putting projects like Pueblos Remotos into practice is not exactly easy.

Since we started the project in March of last year , we were very aware that it was going to be a significant challenge and with a work process marked by the territories in which we wanted, and still want, to position ourselves.

Furthermore, the challenge, as in many projects, comes from different fronts: time frame, ability to carry out several experiences at the same time, economic viability, or COVID-19 itself.

For this reason, having sponsors and collaborators throughout our three editions has been very positive, because those little pushes, people who believe in you, or working side by side with friendly projects, makes things much easier and smooths the way considerably.

Our sponsors

For this third edition of Pueblos Remotos Fuencaliente, we have been fortunate to have five sponsors who believed in the project and readily offered their support. This support also brings with it a responsibility: to meet expectations and to align with the values we all share.

We also believe that it is very important to be grateful; it is something we should all do more in our daily lives, and it is even more important on these occasions.

Our first thanks go to the La Palma Tourism Board (and the 'Visit La Palma ' brand) and the Fuencaliente Town Council for their attention, financial support, and assistance in promoting the project. It is always a priority for us that each of the Remote Villages we organize bears the name of the village or municipality where it takes place, and it is a true honor to be able to carry the name of Fuencaliente, and of La Palma , to all those places we are able to reach.

Our second acknowledgment goes to three projects that have helped us fund places to participate in Pueblos Remotos Fuencaliente. These projects are:

  • FYDE Caja Canarias , which has helped us with the full financing of a place.

  • The DISA Chair for young entrepreneurs , which has funded a place for a student from the University of La Laguna, and a special mention, since this is the second time they have collaborated with us.

  • ADER La Palma , which has helped us with the co-financing of a place.

Our collaborators

Growing through networking is another of our goals, and what better way to do it than by having the support and collaboration of friendly projects, who always contribute their bit, whether by joining initiatives we launch, giving us feedback or sharing our experiences among their communities.

It's a pleasure to be surrounded by these projects, but above all, to be surrounded by the people who represent them:

Thank you all so much for the support you have given us and for all the help provided.

A strategy with a purpose

Our plans include following a meaningful strategy, relying on other projects, other communities, and people who share our philosophy. For this reason, we believe it is also a good time to thank our two advisors , Javi López and Miguel Quintana .

For our part, we continue to generate new ideas, new concepts and new lines of business, which will see the light very soon, such as our line for companies, about which we are very sure that we will give you good news shortly.

And since we're on the subject of acknowledgments, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank you too, for reading these words, for being part of our community, or simply for being curious about projects that are trying to do things 'differently'.
