Last Wednesday, January 31st 'Rural Role Models section to kick off 2024 in style.
This time we have a distinguished speaker: Juan Carlos Pérez Rodríguez , founder of Aldealista .
With Juan Carlos we talked about Living Rural Spain, about everything they are doing at Aldelista to put rural territories on the map and of course about his experience setting up this project.
Below you'll find the full video of our conversation with him.
Gathering knowledge from the villager
From Aldealista they shared with us a lot of useful information, how the project came about, Juan Carlos's travels working across half of Europe until his grandmother suggested to him that 'why' he didn't do something for rural areas.
Juan Carlos told us about how they are working from rural Galicia, how they are building those stories and those 'matches' of travel with the towns and villages of the countryside and all the projects they have promoted with brands to create initiatives that empower rural entrepreneurs, an objective that we at Pueblos Remotos fully share.
Furthermore, during our conversation with her, we also received answers to questions such as: What are the biggest challenges you identify right now for starting a business in a rural environment? What impacts are you currently generating in the rural environment? Or , who is the Aldealista application primarily aimed at?
If you're interested in learning more about everything we discussed during this conversation, we invite you to watch it on our YouTube channel! Oh, and please subscribe if you haven't already 🤗
