Connecting to rural already local entrepreneurs with digital talent: a unique experience of remote work and rural coliving with remote peoples Carnota
We face a new challenge in the rural one and we do it with all the illusion of the first time. In fact, I am writing these words about our next experience in Carnota ( Galicia ) from another experience we are living, the 'pop-up coliving' Almagro 2024. (That everything is said, is being spectacular 😉)
Returning to what concerns us today and as I said a little higher, we will develop an experience in the heart of Costa da Morte , and more specifically, in Carnota.
With this experience we return to the three -week format with which we start our walks, to achieve, as we always try, the best of the positive impact on the environment we act on, with a real experience of Rural Coliving.
An experience to immerse yourself in Rural Gallego
Whether you have been following our project for a while, as if not, I will explain to you what the experience we have prepared on the Galician coast is.
Within Carnota remote villages you can live three weeks (twenty -one days) of enjoyment while teleworking, also connected with other remote workers with concerns similar to yours. To this is added to know the territory through the eyes of our local leader: Javi Boquete.
"Immerse yourself in this incredible experience in Carnota, an almost virgin place of the Costa da Morte Gallega where for years entrepreneurs, artisans and remote workers have found their place of life" - Javi Boquete.
Ah! That I almost forgot, the experience will take place in May , specifically from May 4 to 25 , so we can enjoy an enclave as indicated as the beach of Carnota, the longest in Galicia and one of the most extensive in Spain.
If you keep any doubt, the experience includes:
-
Accommodation
-
Shared Work Space (Coworking)
-
Shared transport
-
Local leader and remote towns team 24/7
-
Activities with rural entrepreneurs
-
'Team Building' and 'Skill Share' activities
But, all this is only the 'tangible' part of history, the best thing that includes any of our experiences is to connect with incredible people, to know the stories behind local entrepreneurs who love what they do, see sunsets that you will remember the rest of your life and become part of a community that is empowering the rural territories with each grain of sand that we contribute.
Contribute to the community to build a better future
The local challenge of this edition of Carnota remote villages is to transmit to local young people , mainly students, the importance, as well as the opportunities offered to undertake or work remotely.
Part of this trip has already begun, since the training of students of ESO in ESO topics is being performed on the territory in the topics of entrepreneurship and in the creation of sustainable tourism projects. With this formation, what is sought is to boost and 'de -stationalize' the local economy of the people.
With your presence, you can contribute your experience, your vision and your good work to inspire these young people.
Empowering rural entrepreneurs
Within this unique environment, we will work side by side with three rural entrepreneurs who are a fundamental part of the experience.
For this we will have activities such as cleaning and collection of waste on the beach or immersion activities in rural life.
Next, I want you to accompany me, because I am going to introduce you to three main protagonists of this story, as well as the activities that we are going to develop with each of them:

Alicia Vázquez (Alivavá)
Alicia left her hometown, A Coruña, and moved to Carnota looking for a vital balance, which is one of the fundamental things we are looking for with Pueblos Remotos .
With it we will make a waste collection on the beach and then we will have a very fun part where we can paint them and transform them in an artistic way together.

Nacho Porto (Carnota Ceramics)
Nacho arrived in Carnota 40 years ago and fell in love with the environment. Since then he creates ceramic author pieces through his own techniques.
In Nacho activity we will learn to paint unique ceramic pieces. We will see how its entire process of creating an author's piece works, from its concept, to its finish.

Alba Fernández (to a pot)
Alba is an architect and worked in London. After the pandemic he decided to turn his life and return to his hometown, walls, very close to Carnota.
In Alba's activity we will recover Galician traditions in its purest sense. We will work a creative session of linoleum engraving, which is part of the recovery of local knowledge.
Rest, work, connect ... call it living
The accommodation we have for you on this occasion is Aldea Soma , a set of stone houses that offers an ideal space to telework, rest, connect with nature and disconnect from the urban hustle.
Of course, this is an experience to share, and that is why we have spaces that foster coexistence and an environment conducive to creativity, connection and focus on what you are doing.
Carnota Pueblos Remotos is a unique opportunity if you are looking for an authentic experience in a rural environment.
Carnota Pueblos Remotos It is for you, if you feel like coming to live a remote work experience to a unique rural environment, get involved with a local challenge and if you want to connect with rural entrepreneurs of this territory.
