Last Wednesday, September 27th, we returned with the 'Rural Role Models' section

For this we have a top-notch speaker: Dulcinea Ortiz , Founder of Biofood Network® .

We talked about the adventure of setting up this project, how Biofood Network views 'rural role models', what it's like to start a business in a rural environment, and in the organic sector, and all the initiatives behind this beautiful project.

Gathering knowledge from Biofood Network

Biofood Network shared a lot of useful information with us, from how the project came about, through the first challenges, and how it is still difficult to understand organic products from a rural perspective.

Dulcinea told us about working with the network, what it offers them, and the advantages of belonging to it. The collaborative ties they highlighted, and things like "promoting rural talent and giving visibility and support to rural entrepreneurs," are things we at Pueblos Remotos wholeheartedly agree with.

Furthermore, during our conversation with her, we also received answers to questions such as: What are the biggest challenges you identify right now for starting a business in a rural environment?
