We continued our monthly discussions. This time we focused on challenges in local rural environments.
Last Wednesday, July 26th, we had a magnificent panel to discuss 'Challenges: making a positive impact on the local community'
For this, we have three fantastic panelists:
-
Carlos Verdú : Community Builder at Genion.
-
África Rodríguez and Agustín Jamardo , founders of Anceu Coliving.
Learning more about the challenges of rural life and entrepreneurship
The conversation with Carlos, África and Agustín helped us to learn much more about the challenges they face in Anceu (the town where Anceu Coliving is located) or Petrer (the town where Genion is located)
Each region has its own realities and challenges. In the case of Genion, they've opened up many new avenues in the 11 years they've been operating there, but some more specific ones are related to the footwear industry (very typical of the area). In the case of Anceu Coliving, they've evolved a lot in their 3 years of existence and are currently focused on projects dealing with feminism and the recognition of women in rural areas.
It was a very entertaining conversation that we encourage you to watch on our YouTube channel.
