Pueblos Remotos Icod 2021
Here you have everything we live during the 'Popup Coliving' in Icod.
Remote villages Icod was our first pilot, which we made between May 23 and June 13, 2021.
With this initiative, we managed to attract 10 remote workers to the municipality of Icod de los Vinos and that they will collaborate, through pre -selected activities and challenges, with 6 local actors (entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs)
The result was a resounding success in terms of connections, socio-economic impact and generation of new sustainable initiatives.
Within the impacts that occurred in Icod Remote, we can reflect the following:
- Challenges: Of the 18 challenges that were initially raised, 12 were resolved and 30 new solutions were raised.
- An average of 3 teleworkors were involved with each of the local entrepreneurs
- A direct economic impact was generated between the main and secondary local actors. 78% of the contribution had an impact on the main actors (local entrepreneurs) and 22% in other secondary actors (communication, audiovisuals, suppliers, etc.)
- 5 new tourist products were created.
- The "sustainable ICOD" association was created following the project
- At the communication level, 17 articles in written press were generated, 4 radio interviews, television and participation in 5 international and national conferences
Icod Pueblos Remotos was the meeting point for a group of wonderful people, who in one, or another, will be connected forever.
