Pueblos Remotos Fuencaliente was our third experience, which we carried out between June 4 and 25, 2022.

With this initiative, we managed to attract 11 remote workers to the municipality of Fuencaliente (La Palma) and they will collaborate, through co-created activities and challenges, with 4 local actors (entrepreneurs and businessmen)

The result was a resounding success in every respect: connection between teleworkers, socio-economic impact on the municipality, and a host of experiences that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Among the impacts that occurred in Pueblos Remotos Fuencaliente 2022, we can highlight the following:

Challenges: Of the 12 challenges posed, 10 were solved and 35 new solutions were proposed.
An average of 7 teleworkers were involved with each of the local actors
A direct economic impact was generated among the main and secondary local actors. 50% of the contribution went to the main actors (local entrepreneurs), 25% to other secondary actors (communication, audiovisual, suppliers, etc.), the remaining 20% had a direct impact on the municipality of Antigua (restaurants, shops, etc.), and 5% was donated to those affected by the Cumbre Vieja Volcano.
Eight new tourism products were created.
Synergies were developed among the local actors, who have shown great interest in staying in contact with each other through monthly meetings.
In terms of communication, 39 articles were generated in the print media, 2 podcast interviews, 2 television interviews, as well as participation in 2 international and national conferences
