Ancient 2021 remote peoples was our second project, which we carried out between November 12 and December 3, 2021.
With this initiative, we managed to attract 8 remote workers, and 1 mentor, to the municipality of Antigu
The result was a resounding success in terms of connection between teleworkors, socio-economic impact in the municipality, as well as in the generation of new sustainable initiatives.
Within the impacts that occurred in ancient remote, we can reflect the following:
- Challenges: Of the 20 challenges raised, 17 were resolved and 16 new solutions were proposed.
- An average of 5 teleworkors were involved with each of the local actors
- A direct economic impact was generated between the main and secondary local actors. 56% of the contribution had an impact on the main actors (local entrepreneurs), 30% in other secondary actors (communication, audiovisuals, suppliers, etc.) and the remaining 14% had a direct impact on the municipality of Antigua (restaurants, stores, etc.)
- 5 new tourist products were created.
- Synergies were developed among local actors, who have shown a lot of interest in continuing in contact with each other through monthly meetings.
- At the communication level, 10 articles were generated in written press, 1 radio, 2 television interview, as well as participation in 5 international and national conferences
Remote - old villages transferred to an arid rural environment, but in which incredible connections flourished, between sunsets that take away the hypo.
